I have to chalk it up to her personality and the way she moves.
If I just look at her features, she would rank barely more than average. However when she smiles and when she's animated on screen, I can't help but find her a rather attractive woman. In fact she seems t16d0o have a bit of a tomboy charm with her Office character which is a refreshing change.
It just goes to show that sometimes personality and expression can be the key to true attractiveness!

she's pretty average looking, but there's just something extra about hershe has this sparkling look in her eye or something. She looks so wholesome and sweet on the Wire - it's very attractive. Not so wholesome in Gone Baby Gone though haha

This is so late but yes. Well said. A whole thread of people that completely understands what u mean. Standing next to the top hollywood "glams" she may get overlooked. But as soon as she starts talking and moving shes a knockout imo. Something about her.
The french have a expression16d0 just for this "Je ne sais quoi". Something inexplicable or a special something to hard to put in words.
