I met Orson Scott Card at Barnes in Noble in Orem Utah. He's a prick. Walks up to the service desk as if he's nobody, asks if they have a certain book on the shelf (his own) and the answer is that the book has sold out, but there are more on order. He then says, "Well I'm the author and you should always have that book in stock." Then turns and walks out. Arrogant as hell.
