This witch was the reason that Loren Avedon, (with whom she was in 'KING OF KICKBOXERS" with)80s B-movie martial artist and actor, has had a great downfall with Hollywood cos she bad mouthed him to all the major Hollywood producers and for what reason, no one knows.
Loren Avedon had so much potential, he had the all-American look and personality, the whole ten yeards (tall, blue eyed and handsome) with skills in martial artb68s but thanks to this two-faced tart his career didn't take off as many would have liked to have seen.
Being an admirer of underrated and potentially talented actors and actresses, which Loren Avedon was. He had so much potential!
Oh well, but look at her she isn't doing too much either. When was the last time she ever did anything decent or memorable. And doubt she will even be half as memorable as Loren Avedon is!!

- I'm quite sure she has that much pull in Hollywood that nobody will hire this guy. She called every producer in Hollywood and they all said "You got it; he's blacklisted." (snark)
- I think "director2000"'s name is possibly "Loren Avedon".

- She bad-mouthed him to one big time producer who was gonna sign him up for a good number of films, he was111c going to have the same kind of success very much like the likes of Van Damme, Seagal, etc. So if he got that deal then every other producer would have wanted to do a film with him.
- I am not Loren Avedon, but a big fan who has all his films (well, most).

I love the way how you portray it as being completely black and white, like GOOD vs EVIL. I'm sure there's a lot more to it than that and you're naturally biased because you're a "big fan". Let's get things straight here, you say Avedon was going to be as big as Seagal and Van Damme. Rubbish! What kind of proof do you have of that? The "one big time producer" who was going to give him a deal I believe you're talking about was PM Entertainment. While I enjoy their films, they are strictly B-movies and all their stuff went straight to video. If he had got that deal, he would be on the level of Gary Daniels or Don "The Dragon" Wilson, but way, way below the popularity of Seagal and Van Damme.
Secondly, I highly doubt Sherrie Rose's word was the only thing that got him "blacklisted". The amount of "star power" that she holds is hardly enough for every director to say "OK, done, blacklisted". There has to be much more to it than that. Now I don't know Mr. Avedon personally and I'm maybe judging him a bit too much, but a certain interview with him came off as very bitter and full of self pity, like his career hadn't gone the way he'd have liked it to so he was just blaming other people. He came across as someone who I can imagine being extremely difficult to work with, so that's another reason why I'm not going to accept your black and white portrayal of the situation. He also makes unfounded bashes on many other actors like Van Damme, Seagal and Lorenzo Lamas and seems to think he's better than everyone else. He openly admitted to having never met the former two, and said that most "big" martial artists stars "wouldn't want me near them most likely". When you're that unpopular with so many people, I think you need 111cto sit down and work out where you've gone wrong. He can blame it on other people all he wants, but it just seems like he had the wrong attitude for a career in Hollywood.
Besides, while I do enjoy the No Retreat, No Surrender sequels which he appeared in, I couldn't imagine him ever doing anything beyond straight to video martial arts action movies. The fight choreography and his moves were excellent, but he doesn't really have the acting range do anything else. He came around at a time when there was a plethora of almost indistinguishable B-movie martial arts actors all struggling for stardom like Olivier Gruner, Gary Daniels, Thomas Ian Griffith, Jeff Speakman, Jerry Trimble, Don "The Dragon" Wilson, Lorenzo Lamas, David Bradley, Bryan Genesse, Corey Michael Eubanks, Sasha Mitchell, Billy Blanks etc. and other B-grade action stars like Brian Bosworth, Joe Lara, Frank Zagarino etc. and washed up former stars doing action movies like Lou Diamond Philips, Christopher Lambert, C Thomas Howell, Andrew McCarthy etc. It was a big game and there was a hell of a lot of competition, so he should be happy that he still has some fans like yourself and people still remember and enjoy his movies. A good attitude goes a long way, and as far as I can make out, he didn't have one.
Oh yeah, and I just saw Sherrie Rose in "New Crime City" tonight. Damn, she is hot! -
