I don't want to make this into a political thread, or Obama vs McCain.
But from seeing Obama, the similarities with Robbins are striking:
-The body language. The easy laugh. Put a video of them side by side, many similarities.
-Tony had a sales course called, Power to Influence, Sales Mastery.
I sold it a few years ago, but I remember one of the techniques, was never create tension or disagreement. This is something Obama does all the time. If you've gone through that course, it's like he's cloning it.
And it's not just standard political persuasion technique. The way he does it makes me think he's had some type of training with Tony.
There's a bunch of other similarities. If you've been to Tonys seminars or gone through Power to Influence, you'll probably notice them. -

No, its similar to cult of personality. Some people just have that charisma and intelligence to get a bunch of morons to follow them.
Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by rulers as useful. -

Some people have the charisma and intelligence to do lots of things. Like drive and eat.
Even other people have the charisma and intelligence to use only vague and broad terms that they can read but don't understand, to call people morons. -

Funny and I so agree with you! Yes some people just have that
natural charisma and intelligence to be able to fool anybody
into supporting and voting for that particular individual!
Now I do not believe for one minute that Komrade Obama has
been trained by Tony Robbins though wouldn't be surprised
if the two have met in between Obama's two terms in office.
I didn't vote for the man in either election!

Um, no.
I just don't get what motivates the Obama-haters so much that they find ANYTHING to discredit him yet fall short of countering his domestic and foreign policies.
Obama is basically Republican-lite, as was Bill Clinton. There's NOTHING liberal or leftwing about him, and it amazes me how the Rightwing are complaining about things he's been doing which are 100% in line with what a McCain or Romney would be doing, except maybe starting another invasion of a foreign country (which I don't think either Rep would have the political will to do anyways).- GITMO: still open
- Federal Spending: pretty much at the same rate as GWB
- Foreign Policy: still acting like the world's policeman, and Defense spending is still a bigger part of our national budget (no complaint from the Right on this one particularly)
- Still enforcing the Patriot Act (another accomplishment of the Bush Administration yet the Right is super quiet on this one as well).
