I'm asking people to be honest. Who has tried his products, and what results did you get?
I'm not asking if you think he's a quack or if you think he's the real thing, i'm asking: If you tried it, did you really get something from it or not really? -

I did 5 years ago. Some of his stuff is ok. If I didn't read one of his books, I would never have been turned on to Green Tea and healthy antioxidents.
His stuff is completely overpriced and he tends to take advantage of his loyal fans by re-releasing the same product over and over again with a little twist to get them to by the same product. Example,
1 - Personal power and Personal Power II are the same exact product, but marketed as the second phase of development. People who bought PP2 who already owned PP1 bought the same exact product. Now I saw he advertised Personal Power limited addition that he was selling at Christmas time, which is the same as the other two I just mentioned. -

I've read his books and did Personal Power quite a while ago by now (4111c-5 years ago). When I was about to graduate from college and wondering what to do in life.
I have mixed feelings about itwould I do it again, probably not. It could work for people, but the problems with Robbins in particular
-Spreads himself way too thin. He falls into the trap that alot of businesses fall into. Trying to appeal to everyone and diluting the quality of the product/service you're providing in the process.
Read about who he's gotten involved with (Wade Cook).
His health, diet, fitness advice never made any sense.
Relationship advice, no credibility on. I can't think of anyone else that's divorced that could sell at $200 relationship product.
I can't believe how much he tries to do (expertise in health, diet, emotions, finances, relationships). Sounds great on paper for him to offer all that. But you can't possibly wrap all that up under a single name, guru, entity.
If you're in marketing or sales, you could learn alot from him. That's his real value IMO. He's just a brilliant marketer. -

Just a brilliant marketer? I doubt it. Think of all the infomercials you see for low quality or niche products. They have all had limited success because the product didn't stand the test is time.
Robbins is a good motivator. His product is beneficial to the masses and his books, tapes, etc are items that can be resold. Therefore, his product has stood the test of time. It's more than smart marketing.
Furthermore, just because an individual (in this case Robbins himself) doesn't follow his own advice - doesn't mean it isn't good. His divorce seems like the biggest complaint that people have as a failure that he didn't follow his own relationship advice.
If you think about it though, he did. The relationship wasn't working so he didn't stay in it, so maybe he did follow his own method.
