Biography SYNOPSIS - PLOT OF HOTEL CALIFORNIA, DIARIES, SECRETS AND, SCANDALS
A ground-breaking drama based on a true and compelling story of the Gawzner family whom owned the historic Miramar Hotel ocean side beach resort in Montecito, California cited as California's oldest beachfront hotel.
The story begins as the dynamic and chb68arismatic, Paul Gawzner, Russian-Jew immigrant whom fled for his life from Russia to America to seek sanctuary and success. As Paul Grawzner later purchased the luxury ocean side hotel that served as a social hob-knob congregating world class figures such as U.S. Presidents, Hollywood movie moguls, Hollywood stars, other celebrities and the social elite worldwide whom revived the hotel's spirit, status and image.
Paul upgraded the hotel of hiring an new employee, bell captain, Grover Cleveland Barnes, African-American from Texas whom changed the public face forever of the Miramar and the Montecito community with his infectious smile, spiritual and professional demeanor. As aging Paul Grawzner dies in his sprawling Montecito hotel estate after uttering out enigmatic words of "fake, fools and frauds" to his son, William Grawzner whom never understood what the words behind the great hotelier dying thoughts meant. William eventually takes on the complete hotelier responsibility after becoming emotionally devastated that his father lied to him years ago to to quit his career job at Hilton Hotel as he would make an will of the hotel estate to him but instead the will was legally given to Paul Grawzner's young widowed wife. Despite the hard work and dedication of William Grawzner at the hotel he continued the success of the family's fortune.
William always asked Grover what is the meaning of those enigmatic words came from father as Grover slowly revealed those words of meaning to him as Grover would often scribble daily account of events in his personal diary during employment.
James Gawzner, son of William Gawzner was a very successful corporate marketing professional whom worked for Hilton Hotel and was called for duty by his father to quit his career job to work at the Miramar Hotel to restore the hotel's direction, image and profits. As the hotel spirals downward and at the same time Jim's brother, Billy Gawzner decided to join Joan Baetz's left wing school to escape from the American socialist and capitalist system as he was prevented from going to Russia as he became emotionally close to his communist ideas and beliefs which he committed suicide at the hotel's beach cottage in room 101. The Gawzner family immediately into an great depression starting the downfall of the Miramar Hotel.
The eventual loss of the Gawzner's prized possession led to family betrayal, Gracie Gawzner and reported legal corruption and collusion of an prestigious legal law firm in Santa Barbara which cost the family their treasure of $31,500,000 US Dollars that was hijacked and absconded in disguise of an charitable trust.
