Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Kelly Reilly

Just saw "Me and Orson Welles." She's a scene stealer. Great comic timing and the best American accent ever for a Brit playing an American Broadway actress.

i have already seen "me and orson welles". there's nothing special with kelly's performance except that i'm a big fan of her beauty.
the guy who did great was the british dude who played orson. why didnt he get an oscar nomination?

The British dude got a lot of publicity because he looked and sounded like Orson, but his role didn't require much more than that. Zac Ephron, Kelly, and Zoe Kazan were way more interesting and impressive. Claire Danes was just annoying, moving her head around on every syllable.

Kelly matched bob Hoskins, judi Dench, in that!

I am biased, though feel the main characters overshadowed Kelly a bit..
She has a bigger role in Mrs Henderson Presents, with some great lines too!
