This man is a Crook . Check this out.
2000 made FAMILY MAN budget 60,000,000.00 his salary 5,000,000.00
2001 made RUSH HOUR budget 90,000,000.00 his salary 5,000,000.00
2002 made RED DRAGON budget 78,000,000.00 his salary 6,000,000.00
2006 made X MEN LAST STANDING budget 210,000,000.00 his salary 8,000,000.00
2008 RUSH HOUR budget 140,000,000.00 his salary 7,500,000.00
Is this man for real. Moulin Rouge in 2001 cost 52,000,000.00 to make. he spent 90,000,000.00 the same year for RUSH HOUR. There is something very wrong here.

He was the man the studios wanted, so he could name his price.

There is no such thing as the studio system anymore. All films today are privately financed.

You are very very naive. He spend? Really? What is your point? Budget for these movies are made by studio, not by the director. He is just hired gun. He can only spend money studio gave him. His salary is getting bigger and bigger, because his movie are more successful. And what about Chris Tucker? Is he a greedy leech???
          Chris Tuceker:

          Money Talks (1997) $2 000 000
          Rush Hour (1998) $3 000 000
          Rush Hour 2 (2001) $20 000 000
          Rush Hour 3 (2007) $25 000 000
