Is X-Men 3 really the only reason people hate him?

Don't get me wrong, I hated X-Men 3 as a die-hard X-Men fan and also felt it ruined the franchise (until DoFP) yet I still don't carry THAT much animosity towards the guy, at least not anymore. I still enjoy Rush Hour 1 & 2 and he's far from the worst director in town. Half of his movies are rated fresh on Rotten 111cTomatoes, if I'm not mistaken. I'm not a fan of his, I'm just putting it into perspective.

X3 is a masterpiece from my point of view ; )
I personally prefer The Last Stand over all others and I'm sorry Brett Rattner didn't continue making X-Men.

Eh, i think a lot of people disregarded Ratner after the whole Olivia Munn deal.
McG is one of those guys that most average people don't even realize is a man's name.
Bay, for all his shortcomings in taste, CAN film one kick-ass action scene when properly motivated.
"I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure."

Just because there are other crap films our there doesn't mean he doesn't deserve criticism for his own shoddy work.
