Purdom's controlled performance in "The Egyptian" really held
the film together when it could easily have come apart. An
inspired turn from5b4 an actor many young people don't know.
I'll miss him. -

A very fine and accomplished actor who had a really long and varied career. He will be greatly missed. Rest in peace, Edmund Purdom.

I have just read the news, and am deeply saddend to learn that Edmund Purdom has left for higher pastures. He was a great actor, and I for one sure have enjoyed all the films featuring him that I have been able to buy here in the RSA. My deepest sympathy go to his two Daughters and their families as well as his wife Vivienne.
Edmund will always be remembered.
May he Rest in Peace.
