Any time someone dies it's a tragedy. Always

I am still able to say today that I am pleased that Daniel Penny was found not guilty.
That was the right decision. And it couldn't have been an easy decision for the jury ti make. A Man after all did lose his life. But the Man who died contributed to his own demise.
That is a harsh thing to say but his actions show my statement to be accurate.
So today is not a day for celebration. It's a day of relief. And of introspection. It's only by God's grace that I, myself have not been in Daniel Penny's situation. Facing jailtime.
When I was an Operations Manager at the 5 Star Hotel where I was working I worked the overnight shift.
I didn't wanna pay for luxury Car Service so I was riding the subway at night to go to work. And there were many times that my life and physical safety were in great jeopardy.
Nyc has always been lousy with dealing with mental health issues and with crime in the subway.
Now that this case has been decided, Let Daniel Penny and his Family go back to being unrecognized and live a quiet life. And for the deceased let us all hope and pray that he has now found the peace he wasn't able to obtain while he was alive.
Sincerely, Steven H. Lake

This really isn't true. Life isn't precious. Life is cheap. There's too much of it. How many human beings do you suppose have lived and died since we've walked the Earth?

I honestly couldn't even begin to try to answer the question of how many people have lived and died on Earth.
