Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Bob Peck

I just wanted to say that I've just finished watching the whole of 'Edge of Darkness' and within an excellent series I thought that Bob Peck's performance was incredibly moving.
I'll be haunted for a while by that outwardly still face, conveying grief and suffering. He seemed to get across so much with just a tilt of his head, a shift of his eyes.
The 30 minute grief sequence in the first episode reduced me to tears, it was an incredibly risky way to make television.
That's it, thanks Bob wherever you are - it was really appreciated.

I watched this compelling television series in the 1980's and was enthralled then.
After searching tirelessly for a DVD of the series, I finally found one.
I too have just watched the entire series and agree that it was excellent - exactly as I remembered it. Bob Peck's character was haunting and weighed down with enormous angst. He portrayed Ronald Craven perfectly.
      British television at its finest!
