The other poster is right. There should be more discussion about 2000the eternally wonderful Mary Vivian Pearce.
MVP is a real John Waters' gem. The only person to appear in every John Waters movie (right back to the prehistoric Hag in a Black Leather Jacket days). Bonnie, as she's also known, was always wonderful. A real screen presence and she could deliver the always strange Waters dialogue with a flare comparable to Divine. From "It's a birthday present! A beep birthday present!" in Pink Flamingos to the ever-popular "This is a nice club" in Multiple Maniacs, MVP was a true star.
See more about Mary Vivian Pearce at the home of the Two Jealous Perverts:

Life has been difficult for MVP in the last few years with major brain surgery. Let's all wish her well. Somehow MVP seems like a real survivor to me. I hope that she's happy and always smile when I think about the wonderful roles she's played over the years. Mary Vivian Pearce is a real cinema treasure.

Oh i love her and wish her the best. My favorite line from her was in Multiple Maniacs when David Lochary asked her if she's ever killed anyone and she replys with "No, but it'd be something new". Thats classic!

That absolutely is a great line. Multiple Maniacs is jam packed with fantastic dialogue. Another MVP line in that movie I love is when she's at the sleazy Pete's Bar and calls up Mr. David and tells him "Everyone's so nice to me here. This is a nice club." That kills me every time.
