      Yes, pure genius. My favorite film maker of the past 20 years. His 4 masterpieces are all top 10 films for me. I wish he would come up with something new on a par with those films.
      For me, "Citizen Ruth" and "Election" were the best of the best. His ability to create these caricatures of modern Americana is genius.

        "About Schmidt" and "Sideways" are excellent quality films. I'm disappointed that he went for SEVEN YEARS without making another film. Glad to see him back.

          Best director in America right now. Four to five of his movies are absolute masterpieces. They are rich and subtle works of art. Every time you watch they heighten your understanding of life in a hermeneutic sense
