Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Chris Parnell

I was watching the latest hotels.com commercial wher "Smart" is showing the group different places they could stay. I know previously Ed Helms was voicing Smart, and I may be wrong but in said previously mentioned commercial it sure sounded a lot more like Chris than Ed. Unfortunately, I can't find anything via google search to prove it.

There's no doubt in my mind that it's Chris. I was on IMDB to confirm that he's the new guy for Hotels.com, but I didn't see anything on it though. I wasn't even in the room when that commercial came on and I thought a 30 Rock repeat was on or something and when I came in I was surprised to see it was a commercial for Hotels.com and not a Dr. Spaceman appearance. He has this very distinct voice he puts on for some of his characters; it's smug without being condescending, like a pretentious guy who doesn't even realize he's being pretentious.

Oddly enough he can sound just like his dad, Jack Parnell, who was just inaugurated into the Broadcast Hall of Fame.
