You guys, this feud business just got really interesting.
JM addressed the feud rumors at a festival in NY this weekend and said a few very interesting, very conflicting, very opportunistic and manipulative things about why that Alicia-Kalinda 'reunion' scene was such a mess.

To sum it up, JM blames the lack of Alicia & Kalinda scenes, the rumors and green screen scene on:- People's need to gossip
- Sexism
- The producers, which she is too
- The story necessitated it because Alicia is not over Kalinda's one night stand with Peter, despite the fact that they buried the hatchet and rekindled their friendship years ago.
- Archie's schedule with The Fall (which hadn't been in production for over a year)
Then Archie reads what JM has to say and shot back with that tweet. So for almost 2 years we went from no one addressing it, to the Kings saying some unbelievably stupid things to hoodwink viewers again and again, to the two actresses at the center of it breaking their silence at roughly the same time.
The speculation and drama could have died down a long time ago, but the continued failure of CBS, The Good Wife's showrunners and now JM to speak truthfully about something that's been plain for all with eyes to see, is proving to be their undoing.
What a mess. I hope Archie gets to tell her story soon!
