Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Robert Palmer

    sambuca — 22 years ago(October 09, 2003 02:59 PM)

A very big loss for fans of 80s music, like me. Robert Palmer had his own very personal style and dared to differ from the mullet-hairband-and-mascara norm while being able to perform his own brand of catchy, popular music, this is why he is still remembered very fondly and his songs played over and over again, unlike so many 80s pop stars that just faded away.
I was very shocked and saddened by his death at the age of just 54.
He will never be forgotten. R.I.P.
