Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Eric Christian Olsen

If anybody owns 24 and haven't seen it in a few years, throw in season 2 ep 7 and be amazed. It's only a 238small scene between him and his father (SPOILER's AHEAD - Approach with caution.. Both if you haven't seen it, or want to see it again and have forgotten) where the audience is given the impression they don't really have a relationship but his father George Mason calls him into CTU (Counter Terrorism Unit) upon finding out he's going to die (probably within the day) from plutonium poisoning. And Eric Olsen is acting all like I don't care what you have to say why did you bring me in here.. then when he realises its pretty heart breaking. Nearly cried.. but then d5b4idn't.. but it was close!
Now.. If you do decide to watch it, which I doubt.. Don't expect too much. It's only a very small scene, but it somehow really touched me. If you have a stranded relationship with your son/father, it will probably make it that much more amazing for you.

Rewatching season 2 now, and just watched that exact scene. Pretty emotional, he and Xander did a great job.
