I didn't know this guy was responsible for so many comedies that I love! I'm a new fan! I hope he keeps making great movies.

His movies and short thumb films are so unashamedly stupid that you can't help but laugh at them. That is the brilliance in it. He kind of delves into those realms of stupidity that other writers are unwilling to journey into, but he does it well. He doesn't seem to care if his jokes aren't trying to be 'smart.'
We probably could have done without Barnyard though. I keep wondering how much of that was Oedekirk's fault, and how much was Nickelodeon making changes to the script so it would have some sort of weird moral lesson. Pretty funny/disturbing that the male cows had udders though and the fact that the adult cows drank cows milk was a little creepy/funny as well. Honestly, the only part of that movie I think anyone really laughed out loud at was the "boy tipping" thing though.
      I'm rambling. I'll stop.

To be honest, I hated Kung Pow. I wanted to see what else he had done and that's how I found out he was actually a writer. I couldn't believe he wrote Bruce and Evan Almighty, Ace Ventura 2, Nothing to Lose, Nutty Professor This guy is a talented comedy writer. 🙂
