they haven't put out an album since 2001 (aside from their greatest hits the following year, which contained 2 new tracks) but still, 4 years is their biggest between album gap yet and there's no word of a new one. i surely hope they make an appearance soon.

They are on a break, they will eventually get back together, they are just pursuing other things right now.
The lead guitarist, Noel Hogan, has released a solo album under the name Mono Band. It's out in Ireland, and will be officially released in the states this December. You can pick up a copy on cdbaby.com right now. It's pretty good.
Dolores is reportedly shopping her own solo album around to record companies. It should come out within the first half of 2006.
