She was an attractive woman when she was younger! I saw her in Scanners the other night and thought she was hot!

I think physically, she's kind of the most beautiful woman in the world. I don't know that she's ever taken a bad photograph in her life!
It is interesting that by her own admission, her life has been, for the most part, rather unhappy. So all of us out here who ever fall into thinking
"Gosh, if I only looked like THAT, everything would be GRAND!"
(regardless of who we're comparing ourselves to), should keep that in mind. -

Yes she is a very beautiful woman and that is sad to hear that a most of her life has been an unhappy one. I am sure she has been hit on every guy that sees her because I know that I would if I had the chance to talk to her.

When a woman is extremely beautiful, especially one born before, say, the 1970's (after Women's Liberation took hold), there are a whole bunch of factors that can combine to make them feel somewhat insignificant inside.
Especially spending her youth in the modeling industry, as O'Neill did from her early teens, there is a ton of attention paid to, and importance placed on, your outward appearance. A lot of very good-looking people don't really feel worthy of pride, or feel accomplishment in their looks.because actually, all that's just a freak of genetics that's beyond your control and you've done absolutely nothing to earn. So people are telling you how fantastic you are and throwing offers your way, both romantically and professionallywhile inside, you know it's not really about you, but about your hair, your skin, your nose, your eyes.
So, it's no surprise that some of these people feel somewhat unhappy and incomplete. And then they start freaking out as their youth fades and the thing everyone told them made them "special" starts to slip.
Miraculously, Ms. O'Neill has stayed fantastic looking, and I don't think she'll EVER stop drawing admiration for how she looks! But it's kind of sad (and I say this as someone who doesn't believe in there being a god), that the center in her life she's seemed to find now, as a Born Again Christian, is built on something that, again, isn't real, or that really has much to do with her. Just a fable passed down, built on air.
But, to each his/her own. -

I am sorry to hear that you do not believe in GOD. I do believe in GOD and I am very happy for Ms. O'Neill's beliefs. I do understand on what you are getting at but some people are born with luck you know on how they look while others may have to work harder to achieve what they want out of life.
There has been a study on that topic on how a person looks recently. They say that if someone who looks good are subject to get away more with a crime than someone who does not have the appearance as good of looks.
