I was first mad when I read this comment because I thought she was amazing in A.I. then I realized I actually saw Timeline and I remember thinking that the girl in it was horrible. I can
t believe its the same girl. She looked younger in Timeline.Paul Walker was pretty bad too. Maybe bad directing? Anyway, sadly I agree.

Could everyone please just grow up!
She's not going to read this and shrink back at quit. She'll probably burst out laughing/
I'm so sick this negativity. Frances was great in Timeline, only the film should have been more like the book.
I haven't seen AI, I bet it's wonderful.
Look. You can have your opinions, but can't you just be nice and keep your negativity to yourself?

We all do realize that Frances had to "act" opposite Paul Walker in Timeline? That speaks volumes.
She was fine in the role. Little or no acting needed or required for that movie. Though charisma helps, which Gerry Butler had and Paul Walker didn't. But I digress.
I do find Frances a very talented actress. Her lead role in Mansfield is still as charming as ever. She has range, for sure. And I do still love her in A.I. as her role was pivotal to making the relationship between David and his mom work.
While neither possessing exceptional beauty, I believe her to be very pretty. Her eyes give her a grace and intelligence which her acting only enhances.
