His bio seems to be incomplete. He wrote a screenplay/play about Jewish prisoners in WWII. David Arquette played a prisoner who herded other prisoners to te gas chambers, and I was pleasantly surprised at both the talent and the depth of the script. I looked it up and saw Tim Blake Nelson's name on the credits. Wow!
He was also the probation officer of a girl who wore an ankle bracelet and had to be in her apt. by a certain time. I have been trying to find out the name of it, anyone. He was great in that! -

The movie you're thinking of is Cherish (2002) with Robin Tunney.
