When ever I see Joe Morton in a film, I always think back to watching him on tv in "Equal Justice" and how amazing he was. (and that was a great show, too - cancelled way early, of course) Just a brilliant actor. I have never seen a lackluster performance from him. He gives his all every time. I hate that he really can't get cast in more major roles - it's a shame, the kind of crappy films he ends up doing. Somebody give this guy an "Oscar-type role" please!!!! He deserves the recognition.

I liked him in Under One Roof in '95 and couldn't believe the show was cancelled before it had a chance to succeed.
The role that reunited Joe and Vanessa Bell Calloway! They had such good chemistry. I've been watching those (very few) episodes recently and can't believe what a treasure CBS let get away. They just didn't give it a fair shot to find its legs.
Rest in Peace Lee Thompson Young. An angel gone too soon. -

I know this is an old post but I just had to agree! This message is still relevant, Joe is such an under-appreciated actor. Watching the episodes on Hulu over the years I can see how a performance like this could stick with you and actually had that very thought. Wish the show had lasted a bit longer as well so it could be seen on a much larger scale.
