    Am I the only person who thinks his acting on Scandal is atrocious? I'm watching Series 5 now. Over the top, and not in a good way.

          I don't think the problem is his acting. I think it's a writing problem. The thing that bothers me is that every time Rowan Pope speaks on the show it sounds like it is modeled on a Shakespearean soliloquy. An occasional speech would be one thing, but this happens whenever he opens his mouth. With the material he's given to work with, I have to give Morton credit.
          I have to admit that, although I have issues with some of the writing, I still watch 2/3 of the Shondaland shows on Thursday night. Ah, guilty pleasures.
