I so TOTALLY agree! To my eyes, both Dick and Harvey Keitel look pretty similar to each other. Harvey got all the breaks though, and has played main characters in movies, while Dick always seems to get the role of a background "toon", usually a chisler, weasle/snitch, slick cat (like a used car salesman). I so wish someone would give him a chance to have his own show someday
While I was an extra on the short TV series called the Flash, I did get to meet Dick Miller!
I never got to see Amanda Pays I did see The Flash for a few brief moments. But the most memorable time I had was with Dick Miller!!!!! As I was wandering around the set, I saw this guy sitting on the stairs to a trailer and he looked familiar. Normally you are not supposed to bother any of the cast on the set as an extra, but as I was walking by I said to this guy - hey, weren't you in the old 1950's movie called Buckets of Blood? He shouted for me to come over and join him, and I did. It was Dick Miller, and yeah he said (in his typical slick tough guy accent ha ha), I was the star of that movie! He was totally blown away that anyone ever remembered that movie, let alone him being in it. We ended up sitting down together and talking for hours about that show, and the old days. WOW! He was one hell of a guy I will tell you. The most down to earth decent person you could ever meet. That time we talked together and shared stories will remain with me forever, and I have always had great things to say about him ever since. But as I said what a shame that Harvey got to be the more well known actor, because Dick Miller has every bit of skills as Harvey does.
If anyone ever sees Dick Miller again, please tell him HELLO for me? And tell him that he gave some poor insignificant extra who was both freezing that night and bored to death, the most MEMORABLE NIGHT OF HIS LIFE!!! Thanks much!!!! -

If you don't have Pulp Fiction on DVD, you should get it, 'cause you'll be in for a special treat: a deleted scene featuring Keitel and Miller TOGETHER! Tarantino even introduces the scene and says he regrets cutting it.
