Yeah, Amanda renewed her contract for a further 2 years but she took 2 months off earlier this year, which she fully deserved.

Amanda's not giving birth& knowing Holby they'll put Connie's waters breaking right onto the end of an episode & we'll have to wait & see what happensI'm not holding out much hope for a happy ending though.
