After watching last Sunday's 4400 episode "Blink" I really am impressed by what a great job Jacqueline McKenzie does with Diana's character. From what I've heard from my friends who also love 4400, "Blink" really resonated with viewers. I think many of us probably long to resolve issues from our past. Of course I'd rather not take a drug (voluntarily or involuntarily) to do so, but this episode captured the beauty of closure better than almost any movie or tv show I've ever seen. A large part of that goes to the writers and the actress behind Diana's character.
I feel like I'm too old (at 36) to write a fan letter, but I really do think Ms. McKenzie is one of the neatest people to hit the tv screen in a long time. Plus she has genuine musical talentalways a plus! I hope an album is not too far away!:)
P.S. After reading a bit more about Jacqueline McKenzie I feel a little sillyI had no clue she had such strong work in film and theatre. Sometimes it is so frustrating to live (in a small town) near movie theatres that roll out the big budget Hollywood films instead of promoting the stronger indies and foreign films I know must be out there. Thank God for DVDs and friends who pass on terrific titles!
