so i wrap up watching S4 of the 4400 last night & i'm watching the special features. only after watching 4 seasons do i realzie she's australian. i have to say her american accent & mannerisms were extremely convincing. ditto for the actress who plays Meghan.

wow, i just actually checked this board to see if anyone else thought her american accent was bad. it's something i've never noticed with anyone else before, but when i watched the first episode of mental, i noticed it right away. i even thought she might be from australia, and was shocked to see i was right. i'm curious to see if anyone else noticed it. i'm sure i'm not the only one who thought it was a bad american accent.

I've spent lots of time studying accents, and i can pretty much tell when someone is doing a fake accent, and tell you where their from. I couldn't even tell that her accent was fake, nor that she was from Australia, which is the one i know the most. She's almost as good as Hugh Laurie from House.

Jacqui's accents are amazing. I didn't know she was from OZ until TV Guide did an interview with her back during the 3rd season of 4400. She's still very successful in Oz doing theatre, but I hope she gets cast in another good series soon.
