was she one of the host of "The View" a couple of years back, like 1998? I seem to remember seeing her back then when Star Jones was considered the biggest woman ever to host a TV talk show.
i also remember seeing Debbie in Saturday Night Live sometime in 1997. Was she in SNL? -

Surely you're talking about physical size, because I can think if ten women that have been bigger stars that were hosts just off the top of my head. -

I would also like to know why the fired her. I watched a little when she was on and she seemed fine. I seem to remember reading that she had a birthday party at Hooters or something like it and BW did not like that. ???? What really happened?

To answer the OPs question. No one knows the real truth. Just like no one really knows what is in BArbara's heart about Star Jones, nor do we know whether STar ahs forgiven Barbara.
Star was stupid for not revealing how she lost the weight and the View cohosts turned against her.
But as for Debbie, it seemed to come out of left field. I suspect something happened between her and Babwa that could not be tolerated. Lesson learned
Vet your employees thoroughly and don't hire people way too young. Also be clear with them. If they don;t do their homework, send them home!!!
