She was a really good Professor Sprout in The Chamber of Secrets. Is Sprout in any of the other Harry Potter books? because I'd like to see her again in one of the movies.

In a recent interview, Miriam, who is currently playing Madame Morrible in the London production of the musical "Wicked", said: "I would like to be in another film but the chances of that happening now are a bit slim". I personally think that is a real shame because she is one of the UK's best-loved character actresses.

HA! that be a first! the movie HP's doing a random character. those movies are going so far down hill i doubt they'll ever get anything right anymore. the first 3 were great. but anyway.
she does make a randome appearance here & there in the books though.

I was going to reply with just that comment. Sprout is fairly influential in the fight against Voldemort's army in the siege of Hogwarts (lobbing dangerous plants at people isn't something that can be done by just anyone!), so she should be back. As for the books, she does crop up briefly in most of them, even just in passing, but it'd be good to see Miriam back as Sprout in the last film at least.
