She has been interviewed in a lot of British newspapers recently, she is in some big production coming out soon?
Anyway she goes on about being jewish and being gay and says she has recently become an Australian citizen.
I wonder why,and I wonder why the Australian's want her?
She says she visits there a lot and likes it,fine but is Australia a liberal paradise and has Britain been so bad for her?

She took dual British-Australian citizenship last year. She lives and works in both countries.
She'll be in the new series of Trollied on Sky 1 (starting 3 Nov) and is starring in the Melbourne Theatre Co's I'll Eat You Last (31 Oct - 20 Dec). That's why she's being interviewed a lot.

I think TROLLIED is so bad she needs somewhere to hide?
I would never do that dual citizenship thing myself.

because she is adored here in Australia, and we consider ourselves so lucky that she has honoured us by becoming an Australian citizen. ( and not just because she was professor Sprout, her Dickens' Women show was very successful here and she has a continuing role in a successful TV series) and she seems to like us.
But you ARE Blanche and I AM.

She is adored by many here in Britain too. I also saw her in Dickens Women at the Edinburgh Festival in 2012.

All of the above and also, I believe, because her partner of many years now, is Australian.
