Louise Lombard did such as awesome job in the two parter. I was very impressed. You could really feel Sophias pain while she was talking to Brass in the Dinner. I almost cried. When she finally got her gun back, I gave a sigh of relief.
Ok, her accent slipped a few times, but the performance was wonderful.

I think Louise proved herself to be a very talented actress. I wasn't all that keen on Sophia until these episodes and then BOOM I realized how much of an idiot I was for not realizing her awesomeness. I'd heard her accent slip in this episode, but I didn't know why lol because I didn't know she was English :$ But yes, she was amazing. I really felt bad for Sophia, especially in the part already mentioned, when she said about always being the cop who killed a cop.

I liked Sofia from the start. She was different then Cath or Sara, so she was fun to watch. Plus the interaction with her and Grissom was funny.
But this episode makes you take a step back and take another look at Louise as an actress. I'm glad she came back after having her baby. CSI won't be the same without her on the show.

i think when you are english going into a top american show and pulling off an american accent i think you can be forgiven for slipping a few times on the accent. where is sofia meant to be from? i dont know what her english accent sounds like.

I think she should have been born in england somewhere, then moved to the US at a young age, perhaps about 10-15. So shes already learned english with a british accent, but her accent has changed so its 'almost' american. That way, they can mask the slipups.

A lot of people have been adjusting to the american accent. Rachel Weisz for example, in the shape of things, she had an american accent, even though she's a native britain. Anyway, i5b4'm really starting to like her character is CSI. Especially after a bullet runs through it. She did a great job, and i'm glad she's now in the main credits. All i have to say is , "It's about time."
