Why has she not done more movies?

She is hot and charismatic. I thought she was really good in "Matchstick Men".
So why has she not done more memorable roles.
She should be talked about more and be more famous. She should do movies that get her more noticed or get Oscar attention, or do a big blockbuster film, like a superhero film (where she could be the love interest or villianess).
If she can't get more movie roles, she needs to do auditions for TV series and make her name that way.
I think it would be great if she became more of a "name". Hell, when Kristen Stewart is more famous than you, and not as good an actress, it is a worry. -

Some women put motherhood before their careers and if they can financially make it I say good for them if they want to be present while their kids grow up and not let a bunch of nannies raise them. Look at Bridget Fonda.. She was the quintessential 90's "it" girl.. but called it a day when she found out motherhood was her true calling. Regardless, Alison is an extremely talented actress and I hope we see her on the screen again soon
