        Definitely!
It was never the same after Eric (Chris Jury) and Lady Felsham (Phyllis Logan)left. When Tinker finally left then I think it was right that they called it a day.
I think that its finest series was series one, but I am biased as I grew up around the area where Lovejoy was filmed and the feud with Charlie added something to that series.
I am re-watching these all over again and they still are pretty relevant and have stood the test of time. Although early mobile phones and the price of a pint will give you a good lol.
I think Ian McShane was one of the first actors in a prime time TV series to talk direct to the viewer as if they were there..I can't remember the technical term for this..Ah!!!! I can! Its called breaking the fourth wall.
They are great programmes and I thoroughly recommend that people watch them!
        Classics!

I asked on another thread, but I'll try here too. Does anyone know what prompted Phyllis to leave Lovejoy? The show never seemed the same again. Their chemistry, and the will they or won't they, was part of what kept people interested.

I’ve also heard this. Sad too Phyllis was the best part of that show really

The story goes that she was tired of saying "You're right, Lovejoy".
