Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Ted Levine

OMG, Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs is also Rusty Nail from Joy Ride. Ted's voice work as Rusty Nail was amazing! I loved this movie when it first came out and love that it's making the rounds again on cable. Whenever I hear someone say "candy cane" I always crack up and people look at me like I'm crazy.

I lost a bet on that Candy Cane role. I called two radio stations who swore that Ted Levine was not the voice in the movie. Is it on his imdb credits here? I need to check that outmaybe I won the bet after all 🙂

Yeah somebody definitely owes you some money or whatever you bet for. Yes IMDB lists him as per "Joyride" the voice of "Rusty Nail" uncredited. No clue as to WHY he was not credited but he was none the less.
