No indictment has yet been issued but public statements from the Department of Justice indicate that a serious legal investigation is already underway and records are being compiled
This entire thing could easily have been handled better, but it seems people would rather have their fun than take proper procedure into account when it suits them.
There's a very heavy punishment connected this these charges, I really hope that some middle ground is found early on as this absolutely would open up so many floodgates to trouble across so many different channels.

Yup Slash dot, just found out that Don Lemon is black (Apparently)
So being charged with a KKK act crime, on Martin Luther King Junior day, is even moreso embarrassing for him than it would be for someone who is (Using Warren language here) non-black
