He was 29 when he was Bond but he looked older he looked more like 35 to 40. He was a good looking man then. I saw some footage of him on some talk show from the early 2000's he still looked very good for his age and younger than he actually is.

He looked about 46-47 to me. I was shocked to learn he was only 29. He must have been burning the candle at both ends in his 20s.

He looked about 40 at least no way he was in 29 in 1969 he looked much older like Sean Connery he was younger when played James Bond and looked older Roger Moore looked younger when he played James Bond even though he was older.

Being Australian and from a farming area he would have spent a lot of time in the sun. To Australians 45 year old Englishmen tend to look like schoolboys.
