People bash Xtine because her carreer didn't last much, but ignore the fact Gaga burned faster than her.
    Round 1
    Christina Aguilera - 17 million X The Fame - 15 million
    Round 2
    Stripped - 13 million X Born This Way - 6 million
    Round 3
Back To Basics - 5 million ARTPOP - 2 Million
As you can see Gaga faced more decline in her first 3 albums than Xtina.
Obs: EPs, spanish albums, collab albums, soundtrack albums, greatest hits albums, remix albums and Holiday albums don't count.

Also I feel like 10, 20 to 30 years from now Christina will still be more remembered and respected.

Really - her career nowadays consist of sitting in a rotating chair and perform at trashy Russian award shows. You think she will be remembered 30 years from now on ?

Yes. She's still talked about and influence numbers of young stars. She's made a biggest enough impact and legacy to last. Besides who knows when or if she will start taking her music career seriously again which will do nothing but prove my point. We will see.

Spinning on a chair doesn't erase her impact, Stripped is more remembered than anything Gaga done, she influenced most female pop stars of today, Meghan, Selena, Demi, Ariana, Miley all inspired by her.
People still remember Cyndi Lauper, what makes you think they won't remember Xtina?

EXACTLY Lukey! People stay downplaying Christina impact, influence and legacy. She bomb twice yet still being mention by all theses pop girls.
If she got her BEEP together she could easily have a successful era. It's all about the MUSIC, image and PROMOTION!!

How? Christina released two flop albums and disappeared. Gaga released two flop albums and still performed at the Oscars, sang the National Anthem (without screwing it up), collaborated with legends, and was invited to perform at the Superbowl.
They both peaked early, but at least Gaga has still found work and notoriety since then.

Yet there was literally no hype behind her recent album.
Christina perform at the Grammys with her smash single Say Something.
Was nominated for a Golden Globe.
She2000's always cited by all the young pop girls all the time WITH two bomb albums. Which keeps her name alive.
Honesty at this point all Christina needs to do is get it together. Really believe people are rooting for her.

Yeah, her and Gaga both. They obviously still have huge fanbases and they're talented artists, they just gotta find their place.

Gaga flopped earlier than Xtine thus her peak is more fresh on the memory of the GP.
                        still performed at the Oscars
So did J Hudson, what's your point?
sang the National Anthem (without screwing it up)
She sang it well before, the Superbowl one was terrible, the other times she performed it she did a good job.
                        collaborated with legends
                        So did Xtina.
and was invited to perform at the Superbowl.
Xtine performed on the Superbowl too.
They both peaked early, but at least Gaga has still found work and notoriety since then.
Lol she's not as respected by the GP as Xtina, Gaga is known as the one that shamelessly rips off the Queen of Pop.

Christina Aguilera did not sell 17 million copies. It sold has sold 14 million copies to date.
Stripped has sold 11 million tops not 13.
Back To Basics sold 4 million and even that number is inflated.
Born This Way 6 million in 2011 is more impressive than 10-11 million in 2002/2003.

It's still a bigger drop though.

Many sources say she sold 17 million and it's not unrealistic considering she had 4 hits in it, 3 of which topped the charts.
Also streaming adds more to sales, i'm not sure if mediatraffic(that says CA sold 14 and Stripped sold 11) is counting streaming.
Born This Way 6 million in 2011 is more impressive than 10-11 million in 2002/2003.
It's a bigger drop specially considering that she was in her peak when it was released and that 2 years before it's release she was selling 15 million.

Old albums are still streamed today, not as much as recent albums, but they are, iconic albums like Purple Rain, Thriller, most Madonna albums, Butterfly, Emancipation of Mimi, Miseducation111c of Lauryn Hill and Stripped are still streamed today at a certain degree.
In the case of CA some estimate it sold 17 million and considering the sucess of the singles it's likely it did.

If you knew how streaming worked you'd know 2 million copies worth of streaming was something even MJ has hard to achieve on one of his old albums now.
In reality, if streaming were to be added to the mix for whoever, it only result in 300k extra copies. 2 million is something not even The Weeknd accomplished recently.

You gotta stop! BTW was the second biggest selling album of 2011. STOP with your nonsense. Adele's 25 is also selling less than 21. It's normal to drop. Britney dropped from 30 million to 15 million with her third album.

Adele's 25 is also selling less than 21.
21 singles were more sucessful and even though 25 still hit 20 million in less than 1 year, 25 can still sell as much as 21 and the difference is small.
Britney dropped from 30 million to 15 million with her third album.
No smash singles in Britney, plus i'm speaking of 1st and 2nd album, the difference of BOMT and Oops is small, the difference of The Fame and BTW is not, 15 million in her debut then her sophomore album sells only 6 million, it's almost a 10 million decline between debut and sophomore album.
