I never knew until just now that he is the father of poppy montgomery's child. He also played the one night stand that impregnated Poppys character on Without A Trace. He was written in after she was already pregnant in real life. Did you use that to get a gig? Thats a little lame, shouldn'y he feel like a loser having to use his baby momma for a job? The pregnancy also added an unneccisary plotline to the show which contributed to it be cancelled.

Why would him being a guest star on her show count as "using" her? There have been celebrities who have guest starred on their significant other's shows. One that comes to mind: Brad Pitt guest starring on Friends when he was with Jennifer Aniston.
