I don't know the details about his divorce but it looks like Julie Benz dumped him once her career picked up.

In all honesty, nobody truly knows the details of their divorce with the exception of Julie and John. I don't think it's fair for us to speculate, no matter what the reason could be. We should just let them live their lives and hope they can at least be civil to each other after this horrible ordeal.

Yeah, I thought the same thing. When I saw she was getting pretty big, I thought to look her up, assuming she probably ditched him. It just seemed probable and yes, it happened.
I met them both at a comic con several years ago. He was very sweet, but she seemed like a typical actress flake.

Yes its sad. And i never liked Julie Benz, she does seem like an actress flake. But thats awesome you got to meet them! What did you talk about with him? Do you have photos of you with him?

Same here, I checked her profile, clicked on the link to his page, saw him, thought she must`ve broken up with him by now, cause she somewhat made it and he is too old and voila. At least Hollywood is still predictable.

LOL! I know I'm late replying to my earlier comment about meeting them. He did the voice / laugh for a lady in line in front of me. It was awesome! I didn't get a pic with either of them, but I had Julie sign a pic of Darla from Buffy / Angel for me.
I had absolutely no idea they were married until I was at that con. I asked their booth assistant why they were sitting together and she told me. You could have knocked me over with a feather.
