From the sweet old guy Dave Hooch and the incompetently endearing Malcolm the mechanic on one end of the spectrum to the terrifying Buddy Wallace on the other.
My question is: Is this guy one of the most versatile actors you've ever seen, or what?

Yes. I thought of the same roleswhen I came to ImDB. A great actor who we need to see more of. Also watch his brief part in " The Grifters." It's great and he just commands the scene with John Cusack.
