Somebody started a rumor saying that I was a man. I'm not a man or that I want to live as a man. I was born female. I wouldn't change my gender even if I had a choice.
That awful rumor hurt my feelings and the last few days I've thought a lot about Caitlin Jenner after watching her on Bobby DeNiro's roast and after seeing PE struggle with his sexual identity.
I've decided that I am going to do whatever I can to help support the trans-community in their fight for their civil liberties and their pursuit for happiness as long as it doesn't require me to do anything that is against the law. -

I know someone who was born with XY chromosomes, but she is a female and has always lived as a female. She was born intersex: AIS (androgen insensitivity syndrome). She wasn't even aware of it until she was 22. Her parents didn't tell her until then. She did have an operation when she was 14 to remove her testes but her parents said it was to remove her ovaries (they told her she needed a hysterectomy) and she started taking female hormones afterwards. They didn't reveal the truth to her until she was an adult and had been married to a man for several years.
One of the things I was a little baffled about is that she would tell that many people her medical history because no doubt there will be many people like yourself that will say, "She's born with XY chromosomes and she's a male no matter what she believes herself to be."
