No way such a young, thin, beautiful woman was cast as his love interest???? I understand that with theater the audience must willingly suspend their disbelief but damn that's asking too much. Why not just cast an extraterrestrial as his wife?

Do you really believe that? For example, would you ever give advice like that to your own daughter?
"Mom Dad I don't love Jim. In fact I'll never love Jim. But since he's a millionaire, I've decided to marry him anyway."
"Oh that's wonderful, dear! That makes you smart!"
I'm not kidding. Could you see yourself giving advice like that to your own daughter? (Assuming you have a daughter. If not, pretend for a moment that you do)
