Carrie Ann had the gall to insult Cloris Leachman. What parallel universe is "Dancing With The Stars" living in? Carrie Ann is a minor, barley-remembered TV celeb. Cloris Leachman is an iconic, Oscar and Emmy winning acting legend. Yet, even though the show is called "Dancing With The Stars", not "Excellent Dancing With The Stars" or "Magnificent Dancing With The Stars", Carrie Ann's overly-inflated ego and pompous self-importance led her to whine about Toni Braxton's exit which, according to Carrie, was Cloris' fault. Amazing.
DWTS is an entertainment show, and finally Cloris brought some entertainment to it. It isn't like 'American Idol' where contestants audition - all of the 'stars' are invited to appear. And dunderhead Carrie demands dancing excellence regardless, as though Cloris Leachman, Ted McGinley or Monica Seles could ever deliver. Keeping the show interesting and fun should be the objective, not mastering the waltz or tango.
After is was announced that Cloris was leaving the show, she showed absolute class and decency by complimenting the "judges". She then told Carrie "I know you didn't mean what you said" and Carrie said "you know I love you". What a load of crap. I only started watching the show when Cloris was announced as a performer, but since she has now left, so will I.
