Another prominent player with a skimpy message board, and most of that in relation to LOST BOYS (hardly my favorite among his roles, I tend to dislike most modern comedy where cusswords are used as buzzwords to score easy laughs.)
Mr. Hughes tends to come to mind on & around St. Patrick's Day: DA's a good choice for Green Day, a nice naturalistic alternative to moonshine classics like DARBY O'GILL, LUCK OF THE IRISH & FINIAN'S RAINBOW. DA was a limited-appeal project, we were lucky to get a movie version at all. Hardly to kind of film to play the multiplexes, I first caught it at the Victoria Street Theater in Santa Barbara, CA, a converted church turned specialty cinema. I also fondly remember his fleeting sitcom, THE CAVANAUGHS, from around the same time.
