Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Sonja Henie

    K.C. is so talented.
Sonja Henie's life is absolutely fascinating. From her rise to world fame
as a Gold medal winner in the Olympics to her movie stardom, rumblings
of connections with the nazi party, alcoholism, cancer. It would make a
riveting biopic. K.C. is the obvious choice.

DC. henie was extraordinarily beautiful. when i first saw her today looking at john payne in a taxi and doing her best to butter him up, it struck me that she is one of the most beautiful women i ever saw. clearly the old expression about accounting for taste must be remembered. but i found her cuteness as charming as young michelle williams in THE BAXTER or young shirley maclaine in THE APARTMENT. lastly i will add margaret sullivan in THE SHOP AROUND THE CORNER. these women were too cute for words as is miss henie. i am stunned i never gave her a look in my 50 years of adulthood until TODAY.
AND. i dont see enough cuteness in chenowith. at all.
so the search continues to find the woman to portray henie. simply amazing effect she had on me. WOW.
