Nothing wrong with that - a legendary character who got her revenge on JR!

I loved Linda Gray's performance as Sue Ellen on Dallas. Sue Ellen is featured prominently in most of my favorite episodes.
Linda Gray made Sue Ellen such a fascinating and multi-dimensional character. Besides the scenes with J.R., I really loved Sue Ellen's scenes with Dusty, Kristin, and Dr. Elby.
As wonderful as Linda was playing Sue Ellen, it seems like she should have been nominated for an Emmy at least once.

She was nominated for an Emmy in 1981.

She was? I didn't know that. I didn't have time to look at her IMDb page before replying to the original poster's post yesterday.
I'm glad she was nominated. Her performance as Sue Ellen was always so outstanding. It's too bad she didn't win the Emmy because she really deserved it.
