Is this true?

No, Christopher George was not gay. He was married to actress Linda Day for a while and until his untimely death.
He posed nude for Play Girl sometime in the 70s maybe that is how this rumor was started.

<< Playgirl = straight. Uh-huh. >>
Levi Johnston, father of Sarah Palin's grandchild, posed nude for
Playgirl
. That automatically means he's gay, right? The fact that he knocked up an underage girl lends even more support to the idea of him as gay. He had sex with her to squelch gay rumors about him that were circulating in Alaska at the time. Similarly, Christopher George married Lynda Day George to squelch rumors that
he
was gay.
Then you have a Hollywood actor named Ronald Reagan who was best known for playing childlike characters who resembled Dagwood Bumstead. A childlike man doesn't know what it means to love a woman. Jane Wyman eventually got tired of their purple marriage so she dumped him. Then Nancy Davis was willing to marry a closeted gay man named "Ronnie" because she knew she coul5b4d become First Lady 30 years later. Then you have the questionable marriage of Roy Rogers and Dale Evans. Remember all the money they made from their chain of fast-food restaurants? The restaurant chain was almost ruined before it turned a profit because the
National Enquirer
threatened to out Roy Rogers. The chief of a Hollywood studio forced the
Enquirer
to back off. -

<< Your rant runneth over, cindytrolls. >>
It's approximately the same length as this post you made two months ago.
** With all due respect, were you high when you wrote this? That's really the only explanation that I can come up with because there's no way a rational thinking adult would blame a tv show for the decline of morals in society. The Game certainly isn't the first show, movie or book to show people being what you perceive to be immoral. Ever heard of Dynasty, Dallas, Melrose Place, or the seven million other soap operas on the air since the inception of television? They all showed or continue to show the very same things yet The Game is the reason why people can't stay together? Gimme a break. If someone is modeling their life after a tv show, they don't deserve to be in a healthy relationship with anyone for any amount of time. They should be sterilized and exiled to an island with other idiots.
Everyone SHOULD learn their morals and principals from their parents, so start blami2000ng the half-assed parenting that goes on instead of a television show. **
My post illustrated the pointlessness of wondering whether a married man who died more than 25 years ago (leaving behind just a few obituaries) got married to hide an alleged gay lifestyle. You'll never know. You can do the same speculation for any dead married man, including Ronald Reagan.
<< By the way, the phrase is "lavender marriage". >>
The phrases "purple union" and "purple marriage" are acceptable in the United States. Confirm that by clicking here.

If it were not for the very lenient laws governing libel, you would and should be arrested for this above bit of tripe.
So, lets put it all togetheryou hate Sarah Palin and want to smear her using the emotionally immature father of her grandchild. You hate Ronald Reagan and have invented your own theory that he was gay in a transparent attempt to smear him. And you hate Roy Rogers and Dale Evans, and come up with a preposterous notion based on an unpublished story in the National Enquirer. An unpublished story is your source? And why, oh why, would a "Hollywood studio" rescue a man who at that point hadn't made a movie in decades?
My conclusion is that you are suffering in the perpetual adolescence known as the American left. You hate America and her heroes because they serve as a stand in for your parents. Grow up, and get a job.
I also have reason to question your sexuality based on what I see here. -

Rock Hudson, Anthony Perkins, Freddie Mercury, Vincent Minnelli and, ironically, one of Liza Minnelli's husbands, Cole Porter and many more, were gay and married to women, some even fathering children. One example of that is Tony Richardson, wife of Vanessa Redgrave and father of Joely and Natahsa. So it's not a stretch to think that an actor who doesn't marry until he's 40 and poses for a magazine popular with male homosexuals might also be gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

No, it isn't true. If nothing else, his, life shows that. This is another ridiculous rumor started by a petty person with WAY too much time on their hands & WAY too little sense (not you).

UGLYINTHAMORNING said almost six months ago:
** Hey Anthony Perkins was marry & had two kids and his was still gay.
So George could of been marry & gay.
but the bottom line who cares. **
And Ronald Reagan could have been married and gay. I said that before in this thread.
So the bottom line is, "Who cares?" If the phony marriage has to do with power, then people care. Ronald Reagan had power. Even as far back as 1952 when Nancy married him, he had power as president of the Screen Actors Guild. If a closeted gay man marries a woman so he can use a conservative public image to get elected to a position of power, then people pay attention. Christopher George didn't have any power. Nobody cares what he did in a bedroom. Also, he is deceased.
Several books and websites about Ronald Reagan say that when Jane Wyman asked her
Brother Rat
co-star Mr. Reagan to have a few cocktails (their first date), he replied as if he couldn't understand why she would ask for such a thing. Maybe someone's going to say that when he became a Hollywood actor he didn't know anything about the birds and the bees. Adults were so naive back then! Nobody had sex; the stork delivered all the babies. Was Ronald Reagan clueless about Ms. Wyman's intentions because of stupidity, not hidden gayness? -

I heard a rumor from a gray alien employed at Area 51 that Christopher George was actually the Loch Ness Monster disguised as Big Foot a238nd he worked for the CIA and was most certainly the second gunman on the grassy knoll. He was responsible for every coup in South America between 1968 and 1979. Just goes to show you can't trust anybody!
