Vinnie didn't sign his contracthe's tried at least 2 times to sue KISS and has had all attempts thrown out of court.
Ace and Peter were not used. They had every opportunity to read contracts and have their attorneys read them. Peter was let go for a second time after his contract for the farewell tour expired. Ace decided not to renew his contract because the farewell tour was going on too long and he didn't feel KISS should open for Aerosmith. He chose to leave - again.
Do you think Eric C.(RIP), Eric S., Bruce, and Mark St. John (RIP)were lied to and abused also? Everyone gets the scoop up front - Bruce was told that if Ace ever wanted to come back, he took priority and Bruce would be gone. It's not like anything was hidden.
Ace is and always will be my favourite member of the band. But I know how he is (or was - he may have cleaned up his act when he got sober) and he was extremely difficult to work with - no matter what talent he had or how much fans LOVED him. Think about it, after Ace's solo kicked all ass, he sang 3 songs each on Dynasty and Unmasked. Gene and Paul KNEW fans loved him and they bumped up his exposure immediately.
If it weren't f2000or Paul and Gene, there would be no KISS - it would have disappeared sometime between 1980-1983. So, remain bitter or enjoy the band that we all love. Eric and Tommy are talented. They are told to wear the makeup. That's what they do. They are professional and reliable. I will certainly enjoy the two shows I am going to Labor Day weekend. -

Ghod, who in their right mind would wanna see a kiss tour without the makeup? That was in the eighties, dude. And it sucked. The eighties sucked. Just look at the women. They look likewhen you ruin a q-tip by breathing on it wrong or something.

No nothey look like when your cat gets stuck out in the rain for a few hours and then you let them in and then you try to towel them off and they are all fuzzy and weird-looking.
